There are a lot of Malagasy people who work on the Mercy Ships, and without them, it would be impossible to do all the work. While working in the bakery, I got to know a few of them better, including a woman named Vaniala and her family. She is an incredible woman who not only works for the Mercy Ships but also runs her own children's ministry center in Antananarivo.

Vaniala and Tantely previously worked for the Mercy Ships ten years ago. After that, Vaniala went to university and studied social work. With a lifelong desire to help people, after that she and her husband started the ministry. They care for children whose parents are unable to do so, those who have experienced violence, or those who are orphaned.

They provide food to these children twice a week, as well as education for both the children and the parents. For instance, when parents cannot support their children and the children have to work, they teach the parents how to plant and use or sell soybeans, enabling them to provide for their families without relying on child labor.

Currently, they are in need of school supplies for the children they care for and want to ensure that each child has the necessary supplies. In the future, they wish to give the children everyday food, but currently, it is impossible for them.

This month and in August, 70 children urgently need your help to provide them with food and school supplies. Your monthly donation of 20.- Swiss Francs can make a huge difference by ensuring one receives food for a month. Your support is crucial and greatly appreciated.
